I'm trying to decide which carbon fibre paddle to buy and have narrowed it down to either the Merlin CD2 or the Apex Accelerator. Does anyone have any recommendations re paddles specifically these two ?

I doubt anyone has owned and trained extensively with these 2 paddles so you probably have to rely on anecdotal reports. Have you read these online reviews?

I have owned a CD2 for 2 years now and never had a problem with it. Its very light and very stiff. I personally like it alot, use it 2-3 times a week and competitions.

Thanks. I've read all th reviews on-line etc but wanted some personal feedback. I've heard Merlin get damaged easily and Burnwater had some bubbling issues.  As the Apex has an eliptical handle I was keen to find out what people thought of this.
