They have an excellent system for posting results: http://idbfworldchamps.com/Resultsearch.php

Looks like the major races haven't happened yet?  So far, a lot of kids and seniors races.  Let's keep an eye on the results and hope SG teams do well.

As far as I can tell, the only Grand Final from today that any Singapore teams were in was the Mixed 200m "Standard Boat" (as opposed to the Small Boat).

5 SRP CAN 00:48.002
3 Singapore Paddle Club SNG 00:47.742
1 22 Dragons Verdum Adren CAN 00:46.592
2 DCH Racing USA 00:47.372
4 Pacific Dragons AUS 00:47.942
6 Alliance DBC CAN 00:48.122

So, Singapore has it's first medal.  NTU came in 2nd in the Minor Final with 00:49.084 so that's respectable too.

I'm not totally clear on the format and event categories.  There are definitely men's (open) races plus women's races too, and also a 500m distance event.  Keep an eye on the results and support Singapore teams.

Congratz to SPC for Singapore first CCWC Premier Open Medal, NJ & SAFSA for the age-group, and PLK to ranked 4th in small boat (Men and Women, 200m).

They have put up a inspiring fight against the world. This is definitely a strong statement that Singapore circuit have improved over the years.

Best wishes to Singapore dragons competing in their 500m sets.

Cheers

You can see the results on the link above.  SAFSA seems to be competing in very few events, I've only seen their name a few times, and none yesterday I think (I could be wrong).

Interesting to note that SAFSA hit a 1:56 in the U23 category, which would have been enough to put them in the  Premier Open Grand Final and a world ranking of 6th.

CCWC is a fantastic event, it was great to have the fellow Singaporean teams and I think I've lost my voice cheering for them as much as my own team. There was a great Singfest spirit about the place and Team Singapore was very supportive of each other.

I hope more teams compete in the Premier events in Hong Kong in 2012. You learn a lot getting smashed by the likes of Windsor (the toothbrush factory workers) and Nymburk which will only make you stronger. Its not how far you fall, but how high you bounce.

SDBA are putting in a bid for the 2014 CCWC and I hope we can all get behind the bid and support it in anyway you can.

Anyways, great week of racing and can't wait for the next one.
