I think politicising a sporting event is full of crap!  >:(
The tibetans agitating for independence are just opportunists! The western supporters are just naive and ill-informed. You never hear the Chinese make a big issue over US behaviour over Iraq!

tibet independence? Is tibet even ready to be independent? Have those pro-tibet independence activists asked themselves what will happen to the people of tibet with independence? Will their economy collapse? Will the people become worse off with a sudden withdrawal of central funding? What are they really fighting for? Better life? Or just a misguided sense of western style freedom?
