Ahoy Tribers,,,, this is from a sea kayak paddler from Canada and the US , hoping to go paddling with a group from the S'pore area.
Currently, I paddle a sit inside ?,,,, 15' Seda "Gypsy" F/G hard shell sea kayak and a 12' SOT 3-piece Cobra snap-together sea kayak.
Most of my paddling activity occurs near Sebana Cove, My ., and from my small sailboat berthed at the marina there.
My wife is S'pore-Chinese, and she paddles a 12' SOT Ocean sea kayak,,,, we live in a HDB flat in Hougang , but we go to Sebana Cove and live aboard, on the sailboat, during the weekends.
We are interested in going on group paddles, around this area,,,, we suggest "Full Moon" paddles up the J B River, to sea food resturants like in Kong Kong,,,, and Fire Fly evening paddles on Sungai Santi , near Sebana Cove,,,, or even Mangrove day time paddles there !
We are flat water paddlers, not yah-hoo down-river paddlers, and have a car with a rack to transport our kayaks .
We enjoy easier paddling, picnic meals, and amature photography of wildlife and local flora.
