Anyone got any ideas how the spartans from the movie 300! train? I heard from a friend that they followed a program of exercise that totals up to be 300 reps.

Anyone can provide more details?

Seems like after a period of '1-set-to-failure' hype during the 90s and early 2000s, its back to volume and whole load of hard work again.

Gym Jones training seems to have practical applications and quite revolutionary.

Anyway here's the clip from yahoo.

Looks brutal man. The training is specifically designed for warriors man. The agility and speed and endurance.

I think the 300 reps is some physical trainer trying to ride on the wave of the movie. I do believe gym jones trainings are more specific and technical than that.
Where can I paddle? I just got out of Vault 13!

I wonder would it do paddlers good to adopt some of their training?

It will definitely make you look good but performance wise, i don't think so. Our ultimate goal in paddling sports is to become faster, not to look nicer. HAHA

but of course, you will naturally look nice with all the sports-specific trainings that ur coach have planned out for you
