A new dragon boat team is starting up in Singapore! The name: Ocean Five Dragons
After a "test drive" in Putrajaya end October last year which turned out to be a great
success, we decided to go for it and join the existing teams in Singapore.
While the team Ocean Five Dragons is new, their paddlers are mostly not - we have
already a large number of experienced paddlers on board who are committed to go for
medals this year!
But our very experienced, certified coach will make sure that Newbies get the hang of
it and everyone is keen on making Newbies feel welcome and part of the team.
We meet for an orientation paddle on Saturday 28th January at Kallang River at 2:30 pm.
As Ocean Five Dragons are a local team, everyone is welcome to show up and give it a try.
This one is free of charge and you can bring friends and interested folks along, even if you
or they never paddled before.
